Transformational Learning for Sustainable Growth in Farmer Groups

The SoilCRC initiative aimed to help five farmer groups—Soils for Life, Facey Group, Southern Farming Systems, Holbrook Landcare Network, and Birchip Cropping Group—reconceptualise their business models to address agricultural sector volatility. From April to September 2023, the goal was to create sustainable, farmer-centric business models.

The Scale Institute developed and delivered two intensive 3-day executive programs for the CEOs of these groups. The curriculum aimed to expand leaders' strategic perspectives, rejuvenate stakeholder engagement strategies, and included farm immersions to test new models. The program emphasized Futures Thinking, enabling participants to navigate complex environments and lead innovatively.

Expansion through BLD Academy by the Executive Connection

The Scale Institute has been instrumental in instigating innovative practices within The Executive Connection. By identifying, evaluating, and nurturing ideas into market-ready EdTech products, the Institute plays a pivotal role in engaging both current and future stakeholders. The primary challenge was constructing a dynamic innovation ecosystem capable of perpetually producing and nurturing new learning experiences. This endeavor required a robust framework that would foster learning design in alignment with market demands and the Group’s growth objectives.
